What is this MMR BS
I'm on a 3 ranked spree win in Platinum V. I win a game at 1612 MMR, and get 18 points. I win a game at 1614 MMR and get 27 points. I win a game at 1710 MMR. 100 HIGHER - and get 19 points?

Only Riot has your real MMR. 3rd party sites are an estimate at best, but can be wildly off. If a third party site says "you have average MMR" but you just lost way more LP than you win, it is wrong.
BUT ACCORDING TO THEIR RANKED BORDERS AND THIRD PARTY WEBSITE X, THEIR MMR IS WAY HIGHER OR LOWER THAN MINE! WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN? There are two different issues to consider here. For borders, the main consideration is that they only represent the skill level of the player at the end of last season. This represents a skill evaluation that is rather old and very likely inaccurate when discussing current skill level. In terms of third party websites, their estimation of players’ MMR is based off of incomplete information and thus can be fairly inaccurate.
