If you dislike unfun gameplay, why does Tryndamere's kit exist?

When are people going to stop pretending that Tryndamere is bad in team fights if fed? If anything, he can carry harder if fed than most champions, since he can safely kill the backline within 3 seconds.
He's an ADC. Marksmen have range and supports to keep them alive. Melee ADC's need something like Trynd ult to be viable.
There's nothing wrong with Tryndamere.
I just beat one quite handily in a game with Heimerdinger.
is one of the oldest champs in the game and the last rework he got was in beta. He was made back in a time when the developers were mostly concerned about making enough money to eat 3 meals the next day and couldn't really afford to concern themselves with the more abstact game design values, such as "interactivity", "counterplay", "windows of strength" etc.. His specific combination of abilities just so happens to come together to form an absolute clusterfuck of anti-fun and infuriating gameplay patterns and he's one of those champs like 
that flat-out should never have been released with a kit like that and likely would have never been created in the first place if Riot back then had the kind of industry experience they possess today.
That being said, he's a memento to League's humble beginnings and is based directly on the founder of the game, if any champ is going to be immune to reworks so as to remain a testament to how far Riot has come as a game developer, it's going to be Trynd.

Because his kit was built during a much different time that the game has evolved from.
They simply need to streamline his kit to not be all over the place. His ultimate needs to be reworked into something more interesting other than a press to stay alive button.
His passive needs to be reworked into giving him free Attack Damage, not critical chance to not make it so RNG. Something like: Level 1: + 20 AD at 100 Fury. Level 2: +25 AD at 100 Fury. Level 3: +30 AD at 100 Fury. Level 4: +35 AD at 100 Fury. ... Level 18: + 110 AD at 100 Fury.
This makes his early level trading consistent not crit reliant, he will still be scary because he's going to outdamage everyone else's basic attacks but this means he isn't going to be critting, so no random damage spikes. He's still going to really scary to have long fights against.

His Q extra flat AD needs to be removed, like really, at least Zed's free AD scales with his current AD. It's admittedly just boring free stats to me.
The health scaling extra AD needs to be changed into giving Tryndamere Armor and MR per 0.5% of his health.
So he gets tankier the more you damage him.

The amount of AD removed because of W is equal to the amount of AD gained from his passive.
Fear minions for 1 second for extra early game strength.

When you press your ultimate:
Receive, 30/40/50% less damage for 5 seconds.
Block, cleanse or nullify 1 ability/attack per 20 Fury he currently has within 5 seconds.
Numbers aren't set of course, can always change it if it is too strong.
Essentially the same champion, still scary early game because he out AAs most top laners. His ultimate just gives him a ton of free defense for survivability and he gets free tank stats on his Q the more he's damaged.
The only thing I think needs to go away is the ability for Tryn to ult during CC. You should have to plan out your fights and engage when CC is down to use your ultimate, not just get a free "oh I fucked up now I survived button". The rest of his kit is too unreliable to ever really be strong though - people complain about playing against Tryn when he gets a bunch of free crits, but what about the Tryn player who goes his whole laning phase without a single crit on the enemy champion? The character is just focused entirely around an outdated game mechanic, and he'll get reworked soon (his waifu got reworked, it must be his turn soon!)

As Tryndamere, when I lose lane, I like to farm to late game and take turrets using my ult.
The thing that bugs me is that he can ult while CC'd. He needs a rework tbh.
I thought OP meant that Tryn is just boring to play. Which I agree with. He is boring to play.
He is bad atm, if u wanna freelo, play Fiora. She doesn't suck in tf compared to him, can kill tanks unlike him, has better cc than him and better burst, but worse dps (it doesn't matter, because with CDR she can spam her abilities and outdamage him)
Add Kayle to that. My most hated champ and I have found ppl that agree.

Tryndamere kind of makes up for being strong by being incredibly boring to play. Obviously that doesn't make up for the anti-fun parts of his kit, just thought I should point out that it's anti fun for him too.
Tryndamere is kinda not that bad. Yea most power comes from his attacks but his heal isn't very good. His ult can easily be silenced and he only has one offensive ability that deals damage.
