Learning New Champions

So I have been mainly playing adc/sup, and I want to learn mid or top. I was wondering what are some great starting champions for those roles?

annie, simple champion, no real mechanics to learn Xerath, much harder than annie, but also much longer range, therefore safer Orianna: Great damage and waveclear, if you fall behind you still have a lot of utility

Galio: he's Galio

I'm a top lane main so here's a few that could help Nasus : teaches how to control waves, makes you develop patience towards lane bullies Shen/Galio : teaches map awareness If you'd rather just play easy top laners to begin with, Trundle and Garen take 0 skill (arguable) and trade really easily.

Bump me if you need more insights for Trundle and Nasus, I'm lvl 7 with both.

There are a bunch of options for mid. I am not a mid main, but when I do, I play Lux . If you land a Q, you have a high change of getting a kill in lane. (Q, W, AA + Thunderlord, Proc W, AA) That is pretty much more than half of HP damage dealt. or (Q, AA, W + Thunderlord, R, AA) and it is a free kill.

A safer mid lane option would be Anivia. She is tanky burst champion. Basically if you land a Q you can easily have enemy champion half HP down. (Q, E, AA + Thunderlord) and then follow it with another (Q, E, AA + Thunderlord, R, and then place your wall in a way he has to walk all the way around to get out of your R).

Besides, when you die, you have an egg to turn into, which most people forget about!

Everyone underestimates the power or an Anivia in a lane or later in the game, but if an enemy is hit by your Q or R your E does a ton of damage.

I prefer this build with Anivia, yet it might not be the best: item 3027 item 3003 item 3157 item 3151 item 3116 item 3020
