Is it just me or is adc really weak in the meta?

I am an adc main since season 4, I have climbed from bronze 5 in season 4 to gold, never higher unfortunately.

However, at the moment, it seems like ADCs are the least impactful role in the game, not taking pro play into consideration since they have a Tahm to protect the ADC. I am sure someone is going to say how Aphelios and Senna are OP, and that is correct, but its not the role, its the champions, I'd argue Senna is OP wherever you play her and Aphelios was just overtuned which will probably get fixed in 10.4.

Lucian is more of a solo laner now because of his low range and high damage output early with great mobility.

EVERY OTHER ADC sucks right now, I have mastery 7 on most ADCs and I can say that without hesitation.

The supports pretty much command the lane at the moment, it does not matter how good I am at dodging, CSing and harrasing, if my support can't do either of those, I auto loss the lane and since solo laners are already 2-3 levels higher than ADCs, I just become easy farm for them.

Let me know if you disagree and why, or if you agree with me and have any suggestions.

P.S I am a game dev myself so I understand how hard it is to balance a game as complicated and intensive as league, but it seems like the priority is on flashy plays rather than strategy at least for solo queue.

as much as people hate it some adc are weak due to average game time. Crit ADC require 3 items to be strong and then go up from there but getting 3 items is hard in 25 min. The average game time is less than 30 min and at 25 min your usually at 2.5 items plus boots. So are ADC weak I say yes as an ADC main but people have not hit me with any facts that prove otherwise. The biggest thing people say is that if you get fed you take over the game but that is the same with any role except support.

ADC is a 10-0 or 0-10 role, they either get too far ahead or too far behind, and even when far ahead, the game is not that much in their hands, they depend a lot on their team..i think they should reduce their scaling a little bit and compensate on their base stats, so less damage late, but more durable early/mid

ADC is both weak and strong. Strong in the sense that everyone is currently funneling kills and gold into them, but weak in the sense that they don't get that power unless teammates prop them up. This has always been the case, but it's been exacerbated by the buff to solo-laners and games ending quickly. Imo, you can't actually solve this issue without making drastic changes to the game.

it's not that they are useless , just hard to play and understand .i was plat 4 support in another server and right now i'm in low elo here and let me tell you something , many low elo adcs don't know how to trade , cs , space , etc , they don't understand the concepts of macro ,damage calculation, level advantage , etc. you just go for kills and not for objectives. aphelios is OP when a good player plays him , i have seen many aphelios losing matches against low tier adcs like ashe , xayah and some others.

Aphelios was just overtuned

completely ignoring the fact that he's got near infinite range and is incomprehensible to play against unless you've played him yourself for a long period of time.

Yeah dude so weak it is still required in every single game. Just absolutely frail.
