Best thing you can do is read guides and watch videos of good draven players. Learn what they do and why they do it. Then you should be able to do the same.

One big tip I will recommend:

With the axes you can control where they will land. They go wherever you are headed at the time the axe hits the target. So if you throw it, then run backwards before it hits them, it will land in the direction you were running (backwards). You can use this to hit minions and then place the axe catching spot far enough back to be safer from harass while trying to catch it.
