Am I being punished for putting support as secondary?

For as long as I've played League, I've done Main Mid, and Secondary Support. I probably played 60% mid and 30% support, and the remaining 10% being mostly adc in past season.

This season, after inputting my roles, I've done about 85% support and 15% mid. Not only has this led me to drop in ranked, but it is frustrating. I don't mind being the support up to 50% of the time, but I don't want to do it more than that. I want to play mid too.

My solution was to put top as my secondary role. That was suggested to me by someone else, and I have a feel a lot of people who are okay with doing secondary support are now doing the same thing. So queue times will only get longer and longer as more people drop support and then the only play who then will play support are the support mains.

So I suggest putting a limit on how much you're given the secondary role. Limit it to like 40-50%.

Also please don't allow teammates to ban champs you've declared you want to play. It is so frustrating when your own team bans a champion someone declared to play and leads to unnecessary toxic situations.
