AP could do with buffs to Gathering Storm

Gathering Storm is just so underwhelming right now. It's okay on some ADs who can't benefit from anything else in the Sorcery tree but for mids it's like I could run that and get 8 AP from 10 minutes to the 20 minute mark.

If I use 3 spells with a combined 2.0 AP ratio every 10 seconds, I'm getting 32 damage. If I proc scorch just as frequently, I'm getting 2 more damage than a level 1 scorch. A level 2 scorch will offer just as much damage assuming best case scenario, and unless you're playing Ryze, Cassiopeia, or someone who can rapid first spells, the ability to proc these masteries continuously leans more toward scorch.

But scorch starts proccing immediately and will generally lend a solid 400-500 damage in the laning phase. By the time Gathering Storm kicks into effect the damage from laning has already been done. On top of that, 50 AP at 30 minutes is not that much (relative to how much I already have in AP value). I'm thinking if you want the spell to be useful, you're gonna need it to offer more at all stages up to the 40 minute mark, at which it should offer around 100 AP and then taper off into the current pattern it has.
