Low Elo Solo Carry is a MYTH (to an extent)

Now, when I first saw many people say that "if you aren't able to carry in that elo, you probably belong there," I didn't agree. Until I started getting better, and I got demoted to Bronze I and climbed right back up within the first game with a TROLL pick. Then it boosted my confidence to the point where I was like "in due time I will climb out of Silver V" because I started seeing improvement, and I actually did agree. My friend who is in Bronze II was like "its impossible to get out of" and I was like "no, you just suck, I dropped down to Bronze I and got right back out" so I really started to believe what all the high level players were saying that if you didn't belong in an elo you would get out.

And as I predicted, in due time, I did climb out of Silver V, halfway on my own. Got to about 56 LP by myself on a win streak, and then the other half was duoing with a Gold 1 smurf in which I continued my win streak :D. Now you might say "boosted," but he barely carried any of those games, if any at all. You can ask him, I'll give him IGN if you need to know that bad. We both got to Silver IV at the same time, then he went on a bad streak while we were duoing, and we both dropped back down to Silver V. (how bad? 1/13 Miss Fortune)

So I play Solo/Duo one day as soon as the loading screen happens, I notice no more silver borders. And the first thing I see in the chat, "who cares anyway, this is bronze" (if you've ever been in bronze or had a bronze mmr, that or something along those lines is very popular to see.)

So I was pissed off because I had been playing with Silvers and ranked was finally going pleasant for me. :D I went 10/4/4 Garen which seemed to be like a Solo Carry that these high elo players talk about. Well 10/3 at first, but Bronze players don't listen. Silver players don't either but they make better decisions than Bronze Players. Enemy team had an open inhibitor and it was free to take if we grouped. But noooo they wanna either recall or go farm the jungle or just start a USELESS team fight. I lost that game. :(

I checked my MMR after that game and it was Bronze 2. So I got another gold duo and after two games he stopped playing with me and now keeps telling me this lie "oh my friend wants to play" even though I can clearly see there's only person in his lobby or "my friend wants to play a custom game" when I see him CREATING a ranked game. Crazy thing is I didn't even do bad in those games and we won the second one.

Anyway I found duo after duo, and I lost with every duo. One was on accident (he switched to rank game without telling me ), other was because duo had 300 ping, other we were on a team where the support and mid were feeding. That duo said there wasn't much we could do that game.

So I decided to solo which didn't go much better. Dropped to Bronze 1 which I thought would be easy to get back out of like last time. Dropped to 8 LP Bronze 1. :') One of those games we got their nexus open, but I can't destroy the nexus 1 v 5 no matter how fed I am especially if the other team has a fed player. And after a losing streak I thought I have to play more aggressive which made me end up feeding (its like when you get angry in a fight and lose your cool because nothing you're doing is working), so before you guys check match history and SOLELY base it off KDA like THATS the only thing that contributes to a game I just spoke on it.

And now I'm 0 LP Bronze 1. All I'm saying is that I proved several times I belong in Silver IV or at least Silver V. I got placed in Silver IV dropped to Silver V. Remained in Silver V for weeks while only dropping to Bronze once. Climbed back up to Silver IV without a hard carry. Yet some jerk will tell me "if you belonged in Silver, it wouldn't be hard to get out of Bronze," which is BS, you can only do so much as an individual. I honestly see why SO many people are stuck in Bronze.

Plus, I see a huge skill difference between every lane except my own. Like the MMR is DELIBERATELY doing it (even going to help them only puts a band-aid on the problem, but eventually the band-aid - and all subsequent ones - fall off and the game bleeds to death). I just wanted to make this post to debunk the myth that you don't belong in a higher elo if you can't carry in a lower one because there are a lot of people who would just brush it off as "you belong in Bronze" when I've stayed in Silver for the longest and even climbed without being boosted. But I do agree you can solo carry a game, but not if you're one tier above that elo.

Bronze, Silver, Gold is like nothing, but playing with Plats it's just complete nightmare, uncarrable at all.

Obviously if you drop faker in bronze he'll be diamond before you blink but OP is right about typical low Elo games in my experience. I went 4_0 in top lane and am dropping a tower and boom enemy drops 1st tower their adc and support are 7-0. And by the way my mid went 0-3, so my lane doesn't matter when mid and bot rotate there. Or i go 0-3 in lane, doesnt matter my jungler went 8-0 and is blowing up other lanes. Its a lot of RNG as to who had a bad game or got counter picked, or when your team starts flaming and tilting for no good reason.

If we can't do this every game in Silver and Bronze, we are complete trash at the game. We aren't Silver because of our retarded team mates, we are in Silver because we are no where near as good as we like to think we are.

There isn't any difference between Silver 5 and Bronze 1. Literally none at all.
