I own Elise 
but I haven't played with her yet. I noticed that people normally jungle with her but I don't really know how to jungle.........yet. Other than that what other lanes is she good at?
I can't find any information after S04 detailing other lane mechanics besides jungle. What do you guys/gals think?
I don't know it seems like she's not really in meta anymore for top and mid, there are just better choices these days. She's still a very viable jungle which I would recommend learning instead of trying to force her into this meta, or rather, in areas of this meta where she does not belong. Jungling is hard but like everything, with time and effort you'll get better.
She destroys pretty much everything that is melee. I have seen her played top and mid, though it is rare.
She's very highly mechanics intensive, and not that rewarding in those lanes. She lacks strong AoE damage, AoE CC, or reliable burst. Sometimes she does alright top if her jungler can help her finish people off, but even that's only so rewarding. Additionally, the key points that make her so strong in the jungle (yet underwhelming at the moment) are her strong single-target damage to non-mobile targets and damage mitigation with spiders... both of which don't help much in lane unless the enemy is too excitable. Put simply, there are better choices.
