Hi! Today and many other days in the past, I have had issues where people would constantly decline matches, or queue up and dodge, just to waste other people's time. Just today, I tried queuing up over 10 times, and every time somebody (probably the same person every time) would decline the match or dodge. I sat there for 30 minutes trying to get into a game that lasted 35 minutes. Is there a way to punish this type of trolling?
I'm pretty sure the chances of getting the same person in your queue group more than twice is incredibly low, people decline queues all the time so it's more likely you just got unlucky then some asshole deliberately declining several queues just to upset people.
Sometimes someone dodges due to technical issues like their client freezing up (this happened to me once it was not fun), or they may have firends who want to play with them so they dodge for a short time penalty so they get to play with friends instead of waiting 20-50+ mins just to play with them next match. Right now the new client is really laggy so some dodges may be accidental. Sometimes I am mashing the lock in or ban button and it takes a good while before it shows that it registered the lock in or ban pick. There is no way it could be the same person dodging each time since they would usually get a time penalty.
What a strange way to spend time
People are already punished for dodging and you will get a penalty for declining too many matches.
Wouldn't that player's second dodge net them a 20 minute timeout? You can dodge 3 times in 26 minutes. If it happened over 10 times in 30 minutes, it must have been different people.
The frequency of this has gone up, for sure. I blame autofill.
