Someone please help me understand how I didn't get an S+ last game.

So I went 12/2 with 178 cs. If you look at the graphs and tables, I had: -the highest CS -most damage done to objectives -best kda -most damage dealt -and most damage done to towers Of my team.

I only died twice. I warded my butt off. I got assists from helping other lanes when I saw them in a skirmish.

On the other hand, the enemy team ff'ed at 29 before I could hit 200cs and take the last towers. Idk if that plays a part.

If I did the best on my team in all aspects, and only died twice with 12 kills, and had the highest CS on my team, how did I only get an S minus?

S+ is granted not of your best teammates or game performance but from overall players performance of the champion.

EDIT:

correct me if I am wrong.

CS numbers have an unusually high impact on your grading for a game. Your CS was unusually low for a nearly 30 minute game.

I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but the algorithm used to grade you is.

position also is a defining factor, the rankings are done for different positions.

Perfect CS in one lane at about 30 minutes if I recall correctly, is 364. This means you missed just over half of the possible CS in one lane. Obviously you can't just farm the entire game, but missing over half of the CS is no good. Aim for more. 10 non-cannon minion CS is worth about 1 non-shutdown kill worth of gold. In your skill bracket, you should be getting closer to 60% - 65% of the CS, which would put you around 219 - 237 CS in a 30 minute game.

"High" is dependent on the champion and role you are playing, as well as statistics aggregated by Riot. You shouldn't be aiming for the mastery score. You should be aiming to get better as a player. The score will come with it naturally.

179 CS @ 29 minutes is not enough.

I assume you'd need around 200 CS at LEAST to reach S+

Just because you did better than everyone else in class, that doesn't mean you deserve an S+

That's not how grades work.

If everyone fails, everyone fails. Try again next year.

Rating are decided by average performance over the patch. So if your are being a meta slave it’s going to be harder to get those high ranking.
