ive gotten my ass kicked for about 50 level 12 games in a row
is riot gonna realize im being matched against nerds that are beyond my abilities yet? this is pathetic especially considering it takes 10 minutes for me to find a game anyways

Im not exactly sure how match making in normal que works but i see you are level 14 now. Your level will continue to go up becuse you get XP after every game. So even if your skill level doesnt improve your level will. So if it is matching you based off of your level then the only thing you can do is try to improve because you will kee going up until you reach 30.
I may be wrong but i believe thats how it is....someone else might post a better answer.
Edit: unless you set up custom games that you wont gain XP in...that way you can practice and stay at the same level.
