I can't check my friends in-game runes

So my friend is a Teemo main (I'm sorry) and I was wondering what runes he was running because I wanted to try him out. I tried to check them on OP.GG but it didn't show them. I also tried to check them on his summoner profile on this website but they didn't show in his match history. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks!
