Why is a dead champion's plants able to zone me from a teamfight?

This is a thread about Zyra.

There is no reason that after a Zyra gets caught out and killed that her plants shouldn't despawn. As it currently stands, provided that she is able to get her plants out (which doesn't require much setup time considering that she spawns seeds passively now), there is little reward for killing Zyra, as she's still able to have a significant impact in a teamfight.

These Rylai's + Liandry's augmented 750 range machine gun plants simply cannot be ignored when moving forward -- even after you've killed her. If you aren't playing a tank, it is very likely that you will be killed by them or otherwise chunked if you come into their range and there's more than two of them.

why is a dead champions turrets able to 1 shot me? Heimerdinger why is a dead champions body able to fuck me if im bad? Sion why is a dead champions bleed able to fuck me? Darius why is a dead champions poison able to fuck me? Teemo why is a dead champions burn able to fuck me? why is a dead champions bear able to fuck me if im bad? Annie why are supports allowed to play themselves while the actual player jacks off to who knows what? Janna Morgana Zyra is the weakest out of all of these in terms of killing you after you 3 shot her squishy ass.

To be fair zyra plants when activated don't last very long. The biggest issue most people face is the increased attack speed the plants get from her popping her ult. I feel the plants should stay active as it would feel extremely bad as the zyra player to pop your ult on an out of position team, die, and then not get anything from it.

Zyra plants persistently attacking after death longer than Heimerdinger's stationary turrets after she dies is a mess.

Please take some power from her, making it rewarding to kill her would be a good start

A good Equalizer will kill the backline even if you die, which you probably will, if you're the frontline.

Or just play full pen and tank hits, that's ok too.

Plants dying with Zyra would feel absolutely terrible for the Zyra player. When I play Zyra, it's always awesome for plants to avenge my death, it's always nice for them to get my team an ace even though I got instabursted at the beginning of a fight. She's a champion who plants plants and helps her planted plants to accomplish things, and if you're killing her it should be to stop her from planting her plants or helping them, and not to spray the Rift with herbicide. That would be like reverting part of any other champion's damage for killing them.

Zyra is fine, she's strong but never gives me any problems I the bottom lane, and besides her plants die after a few seconds and do about the same damage as her autos, so if 4-5 autos from Zyra is able to zone you from a fight, you're doing something wrong

Zyra's plants only target those whom are hit by Q E R or Auto's (with the exception of there being no minions present). Take care not to be hit by her, and you will be fine. If you dodge skills and stay out of range of auto's, plants will target minions instead.

Zyra's plants are extremely squishy, if she manages to get them up through Q or E, kill them quickly. This'll lessen the damage taken. Miss Fortune is actually a counter to her due to being able to delete plants rather quickly.

Zyra's primary goal is to get plant damage + R off, Avoid this and her damage falls off pretty hard.

Be aware in team fights that she will always QWWR (or EWWR) in quick succession, This combined with Rylai's Liandrys and Magic Pen will HURT, and even delete squishy's as Support. Most go damage after building Sightstone (Lower Elo).

Her Ult in some cases is used as an disengage.

Zyra Main Mastery 6. She is rather predictable. Don't be clumped up together when going in on a team fight. Especially if you're the ADC.

I'm not going to comment on the balance of zyra, but i do find it weird that just about every other minion champion loses their minions when they die, except for zyra.

Make the plants useless inmediately after she dies. Theres no 2 ways about it.

For the sake of consistency this should be like this, especially because that plants hit like a truck.

There should be a reward for killing that annoying bitxh
