Am I the only one who thinks that runic echoes just feels weird as a jungle item?

I'm really missing the early cdr that the past enchantments geared toward mages used to give. What was so bad about rune glaive or magus? Magus gave 20% cdr but they could have just lowered it to 10.. maybe lowered the ap by ten as well if needed? Rune glaive was abused to all hell by DORA Ezreal the explorer.. but in it's latest state before it was removed.. it didn't even seem that bad. Maybe give it some of it's old ap back and it would have been fine.. but this new item has more ap so I don't exactly understand why it's better o.o. Anyone else wish they would stop changing the ap jungle enchants?
