A few tip if you consider to be an adc main
Hi, all. Currently I am a silver 2 player, but I used to be a mid plat adc main. As I have played against my bronze, silver and gold duo bot lanes, I wanted to give a thought on what kind of general tips would provide a Substantial development in silver ranked. Thus, I don't have to climb back to plat to play competitive games and can stay silver.
• Watch out certain timings of leveling. Bot hits level 2(both adc and support) when they clear the first wave and 3 melee minions. With that said, regardless of any comp, unless you have a singed support with smite, try hitting level 2 ahead of your opponent can be a significant advantage in controlling the lane. Most of brone and silver players seem to not pay attention to this, meanwhile gold players do. Not only is this important, but also try to back away even if you miss one or two cs when your opponents hit level 2 first.
I personally think most of the laning phase is determined at the point of hitting level 2 in our elos.
• Play passive aggressively! To articulate what I meant there, its always good to play passively. I played quite a bit of supports in mu current ranked elo, I realized after I got my adc slightly ahead in trade, they were brave enough to tower dive or try to make plays very close to the tower range. Two things that can go worse are either their jg comes and pulls out an easy double out of our ass or their support actually hitting his ccs to even out in trade at a minimum.
I will wrap up here. Tho I doubt anyone will find this helpful, if there is anyone with inquiry, I am always open! :))).
