Why?

(I put this in gameplay cause i wasn't sure where else to put it

Ok so I played a RANKED game recently as Rek'Sai with an Akali who picked top against a Riven (after being warned multiple times about this match up, she said she knew and would be fine) but my team trusted her to do well, so there wasn't much argument other than the warning. Akali proceeded to die 3 times within a few minutes, at this point i had my doubts, apparently so did our Jinx as she began to flame this poor Akali. Akali then decided the only solution to the problem was to intentionally feed until the riven had 19 kills, the entire time she did this she had conversations with the enemy team about how she had nothing to lose as she just won her promos and that there would be nothing done about the reports that she would get (she was right BTW). I've dealt with this before so I wasn't really surprised, but i was curious because she decided that at around 20 deaths it was time for her to play, and she was very good at Akali so i Lolkinged her and she had just gone 22 and something in her last game and she had showed that she could easily carry. She was also Silver 3 playing with Bronze players. But with this was mainly about was the fact that a good player KNEW that there were zero consequences to them except not gaining some LP and that she could just feed just to be annoying. What makes it worse is that we almost won, and we would have, had the enemy Riven not been fed out of her asshole. Sorry for ranting just wanted to share.

TL;DR-Good Akali feeds and forces us to lose a ranked game cause she knew there were no consequences, cause she had just finished promos and couldn't get demoted at that point.

Thanks for reading this rant. )

Meh. There was a good post on here earlier, not sure where, about not flaming feeders. When someone goes 0/20/18, they're going to give around 1,000 less gold to the enemy laner than if they were to go 11/20/9. Each time you die when you don't gain gold you're worth less and less, but if you keep getting kills/assists/farm and then dying you keep giving your opponent a fair amount of gold.

It wasn't actually Akali's fault that you lost if she really did nothing until Riven had 19 kills, it was your team's fault for not recognizing that Riven was a little more fed.
