Why the insane damage will no be lowered atm in my opinion
Riot is clearly aware of the damage creep. But they can't actually lower it, even though the game desperately needs it.
Here is the paradox:
**The problem the game faces is actually at its core: hypermobility. **
And Riot will push hypermobility because low mobility is the most boring thing in the game. Even for me personally, I mostly avoid slow champions. I sometimes buy boots on champions that don't need it because I want to get faster in the lane. Slowly going to the lane is the moment when in the current day's attention span, a lot of people check their phones and lose focus.
But more importantly, this also means people will avoid roaming if mobility in the game is low and will favor more mobile champions. Low roaming means less interactivity. Mobility will always give the game a feeling of being a faster one, despite not being true in most cases.
For example, Yasuo's popularity is mostly because of his dashes. And Riot knows this.
And when you have this high mobility, you need to die fast otherwise a lot of people will escape. And when someone is escaping is frustrating, so again Riot is in a conundrum here
