Muting Doesn't Go Far Enough

So when someone is flaming you and you don't want to hear it, just mute them. It a great system that has existed in videogames for a long time.

My problem is muting someone in league doesn't really cut of their communication to you. People can, and have to me, realized i muted them and just spammed pings on me all game. This is almost if not worse then just hearing them same dumb stuff to you all game in chat. I've seen requests for people to be muted in the after game lobby, which i agree with.

One someone is muted they should be totally cut off from communicating with you and that includes pings.
