If you didn't know Akali will probably be nerfed again in patch 9.17. By again i mean (if you don't know) after the... what i call "Akalicaust" she was buffed pretty nicely and was finally balanced and good again. Now... her win rate has risen by a bit and is picked again in pro league. SO GUESS WHAT?! SHE IS NERFED? just because of pro league! it SUCKS. Riot always nerfs champions because of pro league, and champions that don't need nerfs! Kled is not nerfed and is picked in pro league... Zed is picked in pro league even Yasuo but Akali, Azir... both below much below 50% win rate. I agree that when someone is good on Akali it's hard to stop her but it's not impossible. Pre lvl 6 she sucks and picking someone that can trade well against her is an easy way to punish her. Like Yasuo when she comes to farm with Q if she can't basic attack just punish her. She can't kill you in 6 unless you lost a lot of hp and even then a lot of things have to go right. She gets behind so hard it's sometimes just too easy to abuse it. One time i beat a friend, main Akali, as KAYLE in the top lane (340k points). I don't even play Kayle and yes... i do one trick Akali so i do know things about her but what Kayle has to do against her? She is not impossible to beat as i hope you understand and heck... if you hate her, BAN HER. There many apps that give you information about players and you can know if someone is an Akali god and just ban her (if you want to use these apps). There are 2 kinds of people that talk about Akali:

  1. People who are not good at her drop her win rate. Same for any other champion but heck most champions that are hard to play still have 50 and above % win rate. Zed, Draven, Vayne and more.
  2. Her shroud is op she can just shroud and Q Q Q kill If you say so, you know nothing. Her Q doesn't deal enough damage to kill in Q hits (and for some reason it's getting a heavy nerf). Her shroud was nerfed to hell but is still good if you use it well. If she doesn't have shroud she can't solo kill in lane well... she can't team fight well and overall much less WELL. Unless she is fed AF. She still has to position her self in the shroud and can still be punished when she comes to deal damage. Also... a good or at least normal Akali player will not just Q, but will also use her passive ty.

If you struggle with Akali try to pick champs like Annie that can punish with a point and click stun or AOE stun into kill in lane, Ahri can poke her well and auto attack when she comes to farm. When she is low enough Ahri can all in for the kill or at least flash into recall which gives you a lead on her. Again Akali can fall easily. I feel like if she does need a nerf it will be for her damage on E by a bit in the early to mid game but a small adjustment for the late game as it does too much damage in those stages and little to no damage impact in the late game.

Akali needs a rework. Her kit is broken. The new design is terrible. Pro's 1st pick her blind... that should tell you something.

Until a proper rework (NOT by CertainlyT) they should nerf her.

Akali needs to be reverted. It was a failure from day 1 and I don't know why riot keeps trying to tinker with her current iteration. Her ult needs to be targeted again, her ms on her passive and her slow needs to go down, and her damage needs to go up. If they want to keep her aoe ability as a cone instead of a circle, that is fine but the rest of her kit is simply not healthy when put together.

I think riot is trying to nerf her enough that she finally sees LCS play. She got a skin for last year's final event but she's been pretty much perma-banned since the rework. I think riot's pride was hurt because they didn't get free advertising in the LCS for her new skin when she was reworked specifically for pros.

At this point I'd like to see a complete rework, her kit will never be balanced it's just far too toxic.

I'd rather vs 10000 kennen's, Yasuo's, and Vladimir's then akali
