remove yasuo
First, I LOVE YOUR VOCABULARY! So many great words used.
Second, he doesn't need removed but he needs tweaks so that he cant go 1/7 in lane then come out around 35 minutes at 10/8
Vey good indeed, your English is. Yasuo does not need to be removed he is only good for those of you who have practiced using him and is good at using him. Otherwise he's hella hard to play.
I dont think removing him is necessary. I do think that he desperately needs to be tweaked. Probably would be fine with making his E require stacks, like Heimer turrets or Teemo shrooms.
pls no, i needed so long to master him :(
is he overloaded? Yeah, but yasuo's identity is sort of ingrained in his various passives and active effects, but the thing is that his passives are really 6 passives rolled into two: double crit, crit reduction shield health, shield recharge, armor pen and flow shield. This rework doesn't solve the fact he has so many passives, but it does add relevance to his level as well as his farm, making his snowball potential crucial and meaningful until late game. Yasuo's current state is one where by the time he gets his first item, he gets out of control. With the upcoming marksman changes that propels his double crit passive by his third or second item, and the new capstone mastery with the stupidly short cool-down of 2 seconds that should be more along the lines of 10-4 seconds depending on level, yasuo is in desperate need of reallocating. The issue is that people want to gut him, taking his double crit away. That is one option with the stupid mastery, oooor, you could adjust yasuo to what he is, a champion with power spikes in the mid and late game from items and level respectively. Scaling and decision making are the key words here. By forcing yasuo to actually make a decision on what to max first you can control his power spikes to when he maxes abilities and when he gets his 2nd and 3rd items. It also makes the player commit to a roll by level 3, and punishes him for changing his mind by delaying his power spikes to the late game.
Passive reallocation to ability rank
Passive: double crit (with 40% crit damage reduction) has a sheild that when full stacks resource yadda yadda yadda
Q: new passive: crit damage reduction scales exponentially between 38 and 10% depending on rank
W: now consumes a maximum of 100 shield points , passive: adds hp to shield depending on rank
E: passive: reduces the distance traveled to fill flow bar (does not effect sheild health.
R: armor penetration from ult usage scales up to lv18 live values.
tl;dr: yasuo needs to have 4 of his passives (crit damage reduciton, sheild health, sheild recharge, armor pen) to scale so he can keep the double crit. from this he'll be a little overloaded and mathematic, but this means you can deal with him early game to delay his late game power spikes when he max ranks his abilities, adding actual counter-play variability and punishes poor commitment to a path
Ikr. I literally hate him so much. i'd suck pp for him to be removed tbh.
What an interested, well-thought argument.
well removing isn't going to happen, but he does have some problems. I think we can all agree that he is very anoying to play angainst.
A slight rework might be in order. nothing major but he could use some tweaks.
You must be a Zed main. Either way, he is extremely balanced, if not under-powered, in the current meta. Holding a ridiculously low 8% ban rate at this time, most of which is in Silver elo, he isn't considered a threat. His popularity is hovering around 20%, with the majority of those players choosing mid lane. If Yasuo is in the game he will be camped. Most of the time there will be 2-4 enemy champs staying around him from the 14 minute mark onwards. It does not matter how shut down he gets, he will be focused first due to the "op" mindset people have of him. Regardless, when behind he's difficult to come back with as most of his damage comes from getting his core quicker than others to snowball the lead. Use ANY CC on him and he's done. Yes, he has a windwall, but it has a 24 second cool down even into late game as they will always level that last. Fake him out, aa the shield, go in when he's wasted ww. He's not OP. People just took longer to figure out how to play against him. He also has so many bugs in his kit that 9/10 he will fail to get a kill or combo like he meant to. I find him to be one of the most fun opponents to fight as watching him dash around is pretty entertaining. Know his ranges, abuse his cooldowns, break his passive and you will be fine.
Yes I main Yasuo, and no I am not ashamed. He has a 100% skillcap for a reason.
