they shouldve nerfed the headshot damage instead of removing a core mechanic

ive been maining cait ever since season 4 and have been using that combo (And its variations i guess) for a long while even before saber made it flashier and much more popular. removing a core mechanic from the champ is a bad move in my opinion, not because that one super op move was removed, but because it made everything about the champion feel much more cluncky. it doesnt feel right playing her anymore. even the most basic combos feel weird and not fluid at all. i do agree caitlyn was TOO STRONG during the last patch, in fact, she was already strong in s9 and closly climbed her way to the top quietly, and too many changes lead to her terror. she definitely deserved a nerf, i just think it was in the wrong area. her headshots are the main problem imo, you kill someone from too far away due to headshot traps, shes supposed to be a hyper bully and not a hyper carry. (similar to how draven falls off if he loses lane or gets into the late game) and the combo is only poowerful as much as a headshot is, since its basically a sequence of headshots one after the other. passive damage also scales off of crit chance (much more than ad) so clock nerf wouldve made it even more tolerate-able, since ie -> 3 cloaks made it so you have extra 200% AD damage on a headshot on top of 75% normal crit, not even calculating traps, absolutely bonkers. if they had nerfed the passive damage ratios (especially crit chance -> damage) i think it would be a better call than outright removing machinegun cait.

I'm confused what did they do to her? I thought they just took 5ad off Stormrazer and called it good enough.

"core mechanic" is a funny way to spell bug abuse. Go cry me a river, maybe riven will get hers removed too, if the planets align.
