PSA: 2017 MMR RESET

There seems to be a lot of confusion related to matchmaking at the moment. Riot initiated a soft mmr reset for this preseason which basically boils down to lower elos (gold and below) remaining relatively unaffected while high elos (plat+) shifting down either a tier or more

This is why you'll see silvers/golds in games with diamond players at the moment. Over the next few days, these high elo players will have been sorted out sufficiently for balanced matchmaking to be possible again, so please don't worry. This kind of thing is necessary due to boosters (especially with DQ boosting) and is a good move in the long terms of ranked.
