Oh boy, i hope i can get some conversation here, buceause what i got in my mind, is something even i am not truly conviced of, so i hope to explore this better with Your opinions =). So hello, and thank You all for reading this. Where to start..i actually like where's Skarner now, because after more than two years spent almost only playing him, the spires added some new flavor to his playstyle, or else, they added some more decision - making as to where is best to start a fight; and the stun...how the stun works now, makes it a powerful tool, for sticking, fighting, or surviving the jungle. However, due to it being a hard cc used pretty frequently, it clashes with what a juggernaut should be in this game (at least from what i remember). This could be linked to Skarner major problem to have a pretty confused identity gameplay wise. So, i remembered about this: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/champions-skins/qAAt8BET-skarner-follow-up-new-passive-direction-what-are-your-thoughts where the stun is direction 1. What if we switch to direction 2? the post linked above pretty makes the point itself. To make it clear however, thie spire buff from the on hit remains, so actually Skarner looses a noticeable amount of his cc, wich may make him less sticky, loose some fo his lockdown capability, and there also may be no reset for fracture (from the stun at least), and this are the cons that come up to my mind. However, lane Skarner may make a comeback; he will fit the juggernaut requirements. I'm also biased for the adding of a base for his Q, but again, it's bia =3. Furthermore, between ibg, the slowing smite, deadman's, and the new cleaver, right now skarner has the tools to gain back his stickiness (given it's item dependant). TL;DR: Given the link posted above, switching the stun with direction 2 may take Skarner more in line with the juggernaut subclass.

Bonus: as i like where Skarner stands now, i have to say he feels a bit clunky outside of his zones (as he should be actually). This comes from the fact i always loved to running across the map as Skarner, chasing people, getting away from them, and frenetically swinging my claws and stinger against the enemies. This is one of the main things the kept me playing him through all of his reworks, since the first day i bought him (as i am a guy who pratically can't stand still =p). So, how should it be like, if crystal charge (passive) gets split between his Q, and the spires/E onhit effect, like this: @lvl 18, 3 stacks of Q give skarner 10%-30% AS and 20-40 MS (rank 1-5), while crystal charge gives him 30%-130% AS and 50-80 MS (level 1-18). The two bonus stack. These values are just placeholders, as the core idea is to make crystal charge still alot relevant, while also weaken the feel of clunkiness when crystal charge is not active, and i don't want a third skarner madness =p. Might also help again for a lane Skarner =). So, thank You for being with me so far, i hope to hear Your opinions on this thread! Cya in the Fields of Justice!
