Stop farming upvotes by calling Sion trash. He is not.

#Let's see what the numbers have to say about that, shall we? Sion's sitting at a 53.83% winrate. Even for people who are just picking him up, he's got a 52.15% winrate, up to 55.9% for the most experienced Sion players. He does have a relatively low play rate, at 1.46%, but his playerbase average games on Sion is 48 games, which is solidly middle of the pack -- it's not just die-hard Sion fans playing him (for comparison, between mid and top combined, Heimer has a 1.44% and ~110 average games played).
#So why do people think Sion is weak? Because he's a lane bully who's kit is loaded with counterplay. That is, he's an unreliable lane bully. His only truly guaranteed way to hit all his stuff is to flash and ult at point-blank range for the instant knockup. Since the ult gains damage as it gains speed, you're giving up a lot of damage this way, in addition to your flash cooldown. Otherwise, you're dependent on your allies to use their reliable CC first, so you can set up yours (or just use your abilities to zone). This is why SIon loves items like Sunfire Cape and Frozen Heart, which allow him to make an impact on teamfights just by hanging around and surviving, which is what he does best.
#Sion is almost in a perfect place right now. He only needs one buff: When he chooses to cancel his own ult, he should be able to flash to change where he slams the ground. It's okay for him to have better target selection on his ult when he flashes; he is, after all, giving up a 5 minute cooldown for that (and note: he still won't knock up the people he flashes into, just damage them).

I don't think thsi really matters, but my main was gold 1 last season and I have a 55k mastery points on Sion on it (my most of any champ).
