Bottom lane really needs to lose some of its potential gold

The team that wins bottom lane should not win the game ~70% of the time.

The winners rotate out of the lane with easily 3x as much gold as an equally winning solo lane, thanks to all of the gold mechanics stacking together, which turns the game into an inevitable loss unless there's a massive throw:

  1. There are two champions in the lane, and often if one dies, both die.
  2. Because there are always two champions involved, each kill is worth 150 additional assist gold.
  3. Once you're far enough ahead, the support can and will suicide so the ADC can get kills, as well as resetting bounties.
  4. Anti-lane swap protection on turrets gives the winners full plating in most games.
  5. First turret gold.

If I'm winning mid lane early, I might be 3-0 with 1 plate, for ~950 bonus gold. A bottom lane winning equally hard would likely be 6-1 with 3 plates has slightly over 3000 bonus gold. It's impossible for me to contend with this, when they're basically a full item worth of gold ahead of me.

At the same time, it only takes one of two players under-performing to completely sabotage the lane, making it significantly more volatile.
