MMR

If you have normal mmr, does that mean you will be at an even gain/loss for lp? I checked my op gg today and it was a lot higher than last time. It used to be in the 800s I believe, now its 973. I'm wondering if I should start playing ranked again. And if you look me up, I have a really low win rate cause I played ranked right at level 30.. which was a huge mistake. So I've been slowly getting better and raising my mmr. Thanks.
