I smash my opponent in lane, get fed, but then yi and swain camp top lane, I lose 3 turrets, no help, adc afk's, jungler doesn't gank once for any lane, gets no objectives, our middlesticks is the only one with a brain but gets 2 shot cuz my team fed yi 4 kills by 5 minutes in. Their goes my win streak, damn im tilted.

Because LP change isn't based on performance at all. You could go 20-0 with 400 cs and still lose 24 LP if you are unable to carry with a score like that. You lost it because the Yi deserved it more than you. All LP is basically constant. When someone gains LP someone else loses LP.
I saw a video on YouTube explaining that Rioters who made some 5000 MMR accounts to quickly climb screwed up the high rank ladders. This is where the theory that all LP is constant comes from. The rioters gained 50 LP per win so they had to take it frome somewhere. The top tier challenger players went from something like +20 -16 to +10 -30 in one day while having winning records.

Bc matchmaking in this game is cancerbad and it only takes one idiot to ruin a game. Trust me I feel I've lost two promos in a row to 1/10 and 3/14 teammates and sadly it never really gets better.
