Hextech Crafting Disenchant Confirmation.
tl;dr Accidentally threw away a Legacy skin and a ward skin that I really wanted for essence because I was tired. Want confirmation button to prevent anyone else sharing my torment.
Story: I'm so bummed out right now. After a long day at school, I wanted to play some Ranked and head to bed. As usual, one game turned into three and then it was way past my bedtime.
HOWEVER, I had rolled the best dice in those three games and got 2 key fragments, letting me open another chest. In it was Pool Party Graves, a beautiful skin that I already own.
Awesome. I can disenchant that and I'll have enough essence for BOTH that Count Vladimir skin and the Rising Dawn ward skin. What a great use of my time. I just got Vlad and now I get a skin for him and my first new ward skin in over a year.
So I go to unlock both skins and it goes really smoothly. Too smoothly.
Oh...
Oh no.
I hit that disenchant button a few too many times and suddenly Count Vladimir and the Rising Ward are reduced to a pile of cold, unfeeling Orange Essence. And there was nothing to stop me. No "are you SURE you want to do this?" option to be found. Nothing to ask if disenchanting was what I had in mind for these two really nice skins.
And now I can't go back and fix it. I went from sitting right by Faker on a bed of beautiful skins to the depths of crafting hell.
I really wish there was an "undo" button right now. I understand that is a little unreasonable, so what about adding a button to confirm your choice. I mean, there's one for every other purchase in the store and ones for every other action in Hextech Crafting. Why not for disenchanting?
Sorry, now I've gone and stayed up an extra hour to tell myself it's okay and write this up. Thanks for reading, and I hope and pray that no one has to feel this sadness over poorly designed crafting elements. I'm going to go to bed now.
Best Wishes, spvvvt
