Ideas, Thoughts, and Discussion: Tristana
Short point form:
~ Tristana has way too much in her kit. She has too much going on rather than have something that is fun and unique about her.
~ Tristana should get a completely new kit and a complete redesign; turn her into a commando marksman.
~ A commando marksman will create more of a mid game power spike where she has the riskiest play style, but also has the most reward when you play her well. She should be all about jumping in, killing her target or destroying the building, and getting out with the reset. So create a kit for Tristana that plays around Rocket Jump and entirely new abilities around it.
One kit idea out of potentially many different changes and entirely different ideas is below:
Basic Attack Range: 575 units Attack Animation: Massively improved and no longer feels clunky to use her basic attacks; includes greatly reducing her attack frames for a more fluid gameplay experience. Attack Speed: 0.684 +4% per level
Kamikaze Gunner (Passive): Tristana increases all damage from her basic attack by 25% when she attacks a target within 300 range.
Additionally, Tristana can freely basic attack while airborne from any effect.
Rapid Fire (Q): Cooldown: 16/14.5/13/11.5/10 seconds; Cost: 60 mana; Range: 900 units Tristana fires 5 shots over 1 second in the target direction, dealing 15/20/25/30/35(+30%AD) physical damage each shot to the first enemy struck. If all 5 shots hit the same target then they are knocked back 600 units, if the target collides with Explosive Charge it will explode.
Rocket Jump (W): Cooldown: 22/20/18/16/14 seconds; Cost: 60 mana; Range: 900 / 300 units Active: Tristana jumps to the target location, dealing 60/90/120/150/180(+80%AP) magic damage upon landing and slowing down by 80% for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds.
Passive: Takedowns against champions, epic monsters, and enemy structures will refund Rocket Jump's cooldown. Detonating Explosive Charge with Rocket Jump will refund Rocket Jump's cooldown.
Explosive Charge (E): Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 seconds; Cost: 40 mana; Range: 1200 / 500 units Tristana throws out a charge to the target location detonating after 2.5 seconds, dealing 60/110/160/210/260(+80%BonusAD)(+60%AP) physical damage to struck enemies.
Rocket Jump can detonate Explosive Charge early, causing the explosion to also damage enemy structures.
Cannon Blast (R): Cooldown: 140/110/80 seconds; Cost: 100 mana; Range: 900 units / 45 degrees Tristana blasts flames in the target direction, dealing 200/300/400(+100%AP) magic damage and applies Burning for the next 1.5 seconds. If a Burning target collides with Tristana she is affected by Burning for 1 second.
Burning causes enemies to randomly run around at full speed.
