Why Is Ranked Team better than Ranked Flex?

I was asking on Twitter @RiotSupport "When will you bring back Ranked Team? Ranked flex is just a mess, and the difference of ranks during placement is unclear. You said that Clash will give teams the competitive environment they need, but it seems that it's not ready ... so?".

Their answer was something like Clash is a kind of replacement of Ranked Team queue ... well it's not actually live so, maybe one day? The thing I wanted to mention in this post, is that we are tons of player who would LOVE Riot to bring back Ranked Team and Ranked Team queue.

Here is my opinion of the subject : Ranked Teams made us able to play in an effective way, whenever we wanted to do so. Clash is restricting us to one or two week-end per year... Ranked Team queue was disabled two years ago : since we don't have any way to express our team experience properly.

You're talking about Ranked Flex? I will share you my experience. My team, Quitched, is playing with few members for years. We mostly played (and play) game as 5, sometimes doing Ranked Solo/Duo for prestige. Long time ago, in season 3 or 4, we played Ranked Team 3v3, and were able to go from Gold V to Plat I by skipping tons of rank and series (for the first time in my League life). We enjoyed playing Ranked Team 5v5 as a team and against other teams. Being ranked against others was a good thing for us, as we could compare our stats.

Where are we right now? We gave a chance to Ranked Flex queue. We played our 10 games as 5 players, the same 5 players. We did 9/1, which is a pretty good score. ** Top :** Plat V ** Jungle :** Plat V ** Mid :** Silver I ADC : Silver III Support : Plat II . . . Well, Riot **fucked **our team, as Silver can't play with Platinium players and above. Yeah sure, we can take our Silver player to Gold, but the problem will reoccur when Plat's go in Diam's.

I don't understand the logic from Riot. De facto, Ranked Flex queue allows us to play as a group of 5, 3, 2 or alone. How in the world is it possible to have fair games with a 5 premades team against 5 non-premades? Or even twice 2 premades and one solo player?

So here is my request, what do you think guys? Do you agree? I'm asking now to Riot : what are the plans? Clash is not ready, we are lacking of ways to express properly our team experience, so what.are.the.plans?
