Discussion: Life Steal

So, I did that thing today where I got placed from 0 to 10 games, got placed in Silver V. I had heart breaking adventures through good games and troll picks, and so finally I will make my obligatory whine-thread, and hope that maybe some of my frustrations can be answered.

In the last game I played, I was Vlad top vs Jax. It was very hard not to feed him because of his ability to tackle me under the turret, deal damage and walk away.

But later in the game, whether he was fed or not, before he ever had full build, the Hydra and BOTRK allowed him to simply be invulnerable. He was able to get HP back as fast as any of the team could harm him.

Now I realize that pre-season is upon us, but I don't really see much about this mechanic being tweaked in the future.

What is Riot doing, and what would the community like to see, on the topic of AD champions becoming invulnerable from high life steal??

Personally, I admit my skill level is too low to really contribute to this, but I will say this: Playing against this build of items is not fun, and frustrating.
