Champion control options

Pathing, this has been a tricky and fickle thing at times. Everyone has had that moment where you miss click by just a little bit and suddenly you are running the wrong way and the enemy gets an easy pick on you.

My solution is to let the play choose their pathing. This means that the champion will move in the direction of a click instead of finding a path to where you clicked.

This isn't a replacement it's an addition, they both have a time and place where they are appropriate to use.

I would probably opt to have this as a hotkey alteration on right clicks, something like ctrl right click would move your champion in the direction of the mouse click instead of a path to the click location.
