went 6-4 gold 1. Yup, totally agree this placement and rank system governed by MMR is a total crock of shit.

They should make the game more competitive so people who try and want to rank up can win games instead of MMR picking shitty teams for you when you’re on a hot streak and giving you dream teams when you are tilted. Player experience oriented gameplay and comeback mechanics in games ruins any and all credibility for the game being competitive at all.

It’s all these talentless hacks that come in and ruin games for the sake of increasing the filthy casual gamer player base to make more money.

MAKE A FKING STORY MODE FOR THEM, don’t ruin the game for competitive players who want to win, won’t afk, and at least try to coach our hopeless trash teams to victory.

So what we are assholes, don’t play the game if you don’t like Toxic assholes who call people out for sucking at the game and getting kicked offline by their mommy, or afk to go to school.

That’s the internet, Riot, get better and solving your own problems and make the LCS have to deal with what we have to deal with or change your garbage system so t works!

You get placed based on your previous ranking. i can 0-10 and get plat 3

Its based on your previous MMR, I was plat1 preseason, got plat2 in s8, and most pros got placed in plat 1-2.

It’s based on your previous MMR and who you’re playing against.

You can put a team of silver 1 up against a team of bronze 5 and they might go 10-0 - but that doesn’t mean they deserve to be plat 1. Likewise, you can put a team of silver 1 up against a team of gold 1 and they might go 0-10, but that doesn’t mean they deserve to be bronze 5.
