So i would like to ask all fellow summoners, how do you guys win games in league of legends?? its obviously not skill based game, i just lost 5 games in row, in all of those games i went 5/0 within first 10 minutes, and all of my teamates went 0/3 and worse in all of those games. So obviously being a good player doesnt win you games, so i would like to know from people who have at least 1 win in ranked, how did you achive it? what magic do you use to win? since until now i tought being a good player wins you games, which is obviously not how you win games, i would love to hear some suggestion how to win games.

and before you start, here is a list of things that doesnt win you games: taking objectives, having good score, securing dragons, pushing turret, taking barons, doing a 1V5 penta, playing your main champion, strategical pings, strategical chat messages.

Thrilled for suggestions :) [slayer-jinx-catface]

You have to be waaaaay better than ur peers to climb quickly. If you're only a little better you'll climb slowly.

If you want to get beyond gold you just need to play a ton of games. Like 25 games a day and if you're competent then you'll be in plat. Unless you're just new to the game, then you'll be in bronze for ages. But it only took like . . . well I got put into bronze this season - then got back into gold 5 the next week. Pretty much been in gold ever since because I really only play like 1-2 games a day now. Even if you play extremely well - people will bitch at you. So the reality is:

Nobody on your team matters. Care only about yourself. Take all the kills, take all the gold and try not to limit your team too badly to gain a lead. And just play a ton of games.

A mix of skill and luck.

Not just mechanical skill though. Map awareness, rotations, shotcalling, in addition to everything you need in lane.

Actually you can solo win : https://i.imgur.com/15obhMN.png

Most people eloboosting have incredible records of 50 victory for one defeat, so we can pretty much take luck out of the equation.

You can't decide your team (except if you duo, which you should), so we can also take the team out of the equation.

Now, the goal is to SNOWBALL. Just learn to snowball. You are 4/0 your oponent is under his tower, he isnt even worth gold anymore. What are you doing on your lane ? Either your jungle come and you dive him to take first tower, or you can invade the ennemy jungle alone (dude you are 4/0, go and do something). You have to win every single lane (or to play a late game monster that can 1v5, or pick people one by one with long range and self peel).

The key is consistency, ima go into theoretics to explain the system.

When you play games, riot wants to pit you against players of an equal skill level, the way it does this is trying to put you in a position where you lose 50% of your games and win 50%.

So lets say you play your placements and come out at 1400 mmr(ranking is superficial) the matchmaker per ten games lets say, will alot you 5 games that a 1400 will win and 5 that he will lose, some portion of these games, by amix of design and happenstance will be unwinnable and unloseable for the most part, which creates what i will dub the 4 game window, 2/10 games that you're suppose to lose but you CAN win, and 2/10 games that you're suppose to win but you CAN lose. If you want to make a net gain in ranking you need to win 3/4 of the games in the window or total 6 out of 10 games.

For say a 1600 true mmr player getting out of the 1400 range is difficult and takes time, consistency is important because you need to win when the opportunity presents itself.

The reason why diamond smurfs flow through broneze/silver like a hurricane is brcause they are winning those "guaranteed losses". Just take time, be patient and play consistent
