Explain yourself riot

My entire team couldnt connect to the game for the first 5 minutes, and guess what happened? I just lost another game. Now im not the one to usually complain about losing, but seriously, 4 of us had ping over 4000 and had to close and reopen the game a couple of times until things went back to normal. Kayn couldnt fix this problem until it was 15 minutes in and still had a high ping after that. The only person in my team not affected was Cho who had something like 20 (jesus christ im envious). Now i understand losing LP because of lack of teamwork or personal skill, but i really cant accept the fact that i just lost a game because of your servers burning. Im asking for an explanation why did 5 non-premade players just lose a game because of techincal difficulties and how is that fair?
