I think Rammus needs some love <3

I think Rammus needs a little polish. I mean he got a nerf a while ago which practically removed him from league. His jungle clears are bad, he struggles so hard against dragon ( mainly because his W doesn't reflect damage back to dragon which I think it should and only with AA, Q and ulti Rammus doesn't quite do dammage ) and the only pro for him early game is the ganking potential. I think Rammus should be a nightmare for all ADC but now he can't scare anyone because there are tons of true damage and x% maxim healt damage. His kit needs some buffs as well. Playing Rammus isn't fun ( unless u kill someone with your W that is pretty funny xD). I think Riot should rework a bit his W and the ulti. What I think is stupid with his ult is that it doesnt slow down enemies, Jesus, he creates a tremor around him but the enemies can walk through that with ease like there isn't something wrong whit the ground. He got a new 975RP skin not a while ago which is simply not worth compared whit other 975RP skins. I mean some champions got every single ability changed, a new recall animation and even the passive ( i'm looking at you, Guardian of the sands Skarner, Riot loves you too much ><) and poor Guardian of the sands Rammus gets wings that he only uses in his Q and recall animation. Nothing else changed. Riot, I know you can do better than this. There is full metal Rammus which changes every ability but don't have a recall animation at the same amount of RP. I whish I would've bought Full Metal Rammus instead of Guardian of the Sands Rammus. This is what I had to say and sorry if there are some grammer problems and I hope Riot will see this and will do something about the OK guy who we all know about ^^

I would say rammus is in a good spot.

The next meta will revolve around AD champions and crit champions, and rammus excels at dealing with auto attack reliant champions. His first few clears are a bit rough, but cinderhulk and thornmail should turn that around quite nicely (as well as never having mana problems, as you don't need to spam skills.)

He's also forced to build cinderhulk which doesn't synergise with him at all and then they nerfed armor without giving him compensation or reversion of the preseason nerf they said they'd revert if he was doing badly. They're also buffing ADCs without giving tanks in general any help. RIP Rammus

He is getting Love. Next season buffs ADs, which basically makes Rammus a God.

He'll be in hell of a good spot when the PBE changes hit live. His 104 base armor at lvl 18 are extremely strong vs the new Last Whisper, so he already has 50% dmg reduction that can not be pentrated without other armor pen items.

he is a jungle, but he has the worst clear out of any jungler... if that is not a hint for riot to rework/buff rammus, idk what is

I find it super annoying that they nerfed the cooldown on his q at the start of the season because they "thought he'd be strong in season 5." He went from being a high winrate (but low pickrate) jungler to just bad in general for a while. Despite the fact their prediction that rammus would be strong was completely wrong they never reverted the nerf. His only reliable damage is on a 16 second cooldown. Doesn't seem right to me.

I'm curious to see where he will fall ultimately with the next season item changes. I think while its unfortunate the powerball nerf wasn't looked at, making changes right before a massive item and mastery overhaul is basically taking a shot in the dark and no better then the powerball nerf due to what might happen.

Give him some time, I'm actually quite curious to see how he does with the new Frozen fist. Rammus

I've played about 30 ranked games this season with him and would consider myself a decent rammus player. Right now he's a pretty solid niche pick - I choose him against heavy AD teams (obviously) or teams with an enemy immobile mid laner.

That being said, I think he's completely viable to climb at least up to diamond with fairly easily. but I wouldn't call him top tier. So while I think there are quite a few champs who needs buffs a LOT more than rammus, I will agree with you that some minor buffs could bump him into the right direction without making him op.

Playing Rammus is actually pretty fun if you're against an ADC or any AD champions sent top lane. Use your W, stop giving a fuck, and just start farming for the whole duration.

"You wanna hit me? Then do it"

rammus is actually my one trick pony for ranked 3v3 when I go jungle, all you need to do is land one flash/taunt and the other guy is dead ( but with only 2 jungle item in this map in S6, he will probably need some love there)

Personally, I believe that Rammus could use some tweaking in exactly the form Riot has been doing with other Champions as of late. What's Rammus' power fantasy? What's unique about him? Does he have meaningful strengths and weaknesses? I love the little guy, and I'm not sure what changes need to happen, but I trust that Riot will do right by him when they get around to it.

He's still good vs all ad teams. His taunt is still stupid easy. Like, chill out.
