Is league dying?
Almost all youtuber complain about the game and old players start quitting now. Including me. Is lol losing more players than it used to. Personally i think riot fked up. Its not fun to play anymore

Some year, we are going to have a year when someone isn't saying this. No, League isn't dying, yeah old players are leaving but new players are filling their place, yeah, of course people who play it endlessly are going to complain more, not to say they are wrong, just how it is.
I agree. Just not fun anymore.
But for me, its the masteries that killed my overall experience and the blackballing into playing champions a certain way as they make changes to affirm those positions.

Your damn right xD , well its not losing so much in the manner of numbers, as to the quality of the community, nowadays average players in league of legends are aged 8-14 , and you can guess twice how mature they are :)
The game itself is alright, with some balance issues of champs, but the community is making it unbearable. Imagine seeing afk and feed 9/10 games on daily basis, thats League trade mark. I moved to Smite, might try Guild wars 2 soon as well.
Since juggernaut patch it just started going down hill. I might leave as well since it's rare i can play a game and enjoy it. Now if you want to know if you will lose or win you wait for the 10 minutes mark, look at wich team has the more kill and you have your answer. And as if squishy turrets and hyper scaling AD tanks (oh wait what they call them already... oh yeah juggernauts), weren't enough, now they make minions on the winning team get advantages? But that's not everything coz those said minions can turn into a fucking wall now! If there is more than 1 minion in front of you chances are you will be body blocked. Oh and why not nerf ap and give ad new items. They litteraly did a whole patch where they destroyed the 120 ap item tier (but rabadon, because even tought the ap items patch was supposed to be about giving mages multiple build paths, everyone should get a rabadon right?), than make every single ap item cost more with the preseason change. Yayyy. Can't wait to see the next patch where they will hyper-buff a small group of champion that most of them were already viable coz why not lel (yes i'm talking about you

League just isn't fun anymore.
It's actually not the same every preseason. This preseason is the worst in league history.
And it's pretty obvious Riot only cares about money and flashy champs to get dem tournaments going.
They're nerfing without compensation every immobile mage whereas every overloaded/non mana gated champ are getting buffed/compensation buff whenever they fall behind.
Or you have Lee Sin that only gets buff because reason.
As a filthy casual League player who's spent WAY TOO MUCH MONEY on this game... the only real joy I get is when my favorite champions get skins. Toxicity and snowball gameplay accompanied with these really weird changes to the game make it less fun for me. Now, I began playing right after Lissandra was released. I haven't been there for all of it. But one thing is certain, League really went downhill for me in 2015. I ended up only playing league as a break from other games, not because it was enjoyable. I'll maybe enjoy 1 out of 4 games. This is either due to toxicity, enemy team getting super fed and destroying us, or leavers. I can be in the best of moods and one game with a toxic player just takes it out of me, you know? Just kills it for me. Another problem is some of the recent champ releases...

(who, after years of people calling him a terrible pick due to immobility and low utility, is all of a sudden super-op and in need of a nerf).
According to wasted on lol: "You've spent about 2482 hours on League of Legends which means 103 days of your life" I don't like the preseason changes and all the crit everywhere. Time to move on some other hobbie... (I will probably install in the future only to check some of the new champions that RIOT releases)
I've been playing since early 2010. I agree its not as fun as it used to be, but I feel this way every single preseason. But that feeling always goes away after preseason. (season 4 was my favorite season)
well if their numbers of people viewing this year's worlds vs last year's worlds is to be believed then League is just getting more popular. Old players will always quit, no one plays the same game forever you know? some take a short break, some a long break while others stop playing altogether. But just like old players leave, new players come and fill in their spots. People's taste in games change overtime and they will leave once they find a game to not be fun for them anymore, or they can't put as much time into it anymore but there are others that will still find the game fun and those are the ones who will keep playing.
Fun is also a very subjective thing, what some might find fun other might find it to be the most annoying experience ever.
Yeah, for the past year and a half they have been slowly ruining the game patch after patch. Don't really know what they are thinking. I was forced out of my role (jungle) cause they destroyed it. The only reason that kept me from uninstalling is that I love Gangplank as a character and I enjoy logging in every now and then to hear his funny quotes. But I mean, the game is nothing like it used to be. I lost hope in Riot, I am only around for as long as I can still get a little bit of fun, but I don't expect it to last much longer.
It's more popular than ever. That being said, I agree that the quality of the game itself has gone into the dumpster.
If it's not fun anymore than just leave. Personally I don't think it would be the most popular game in the world if it wasn't fun.
I don't think so - I just think that a lot of whiners and people who can't accept change are leaving league, nothing new under the sun.

It is dying in a certain aspect. As a hardcore strategy game, yes its dying. The intricacies of laning and jungling are practically gone, practically impossible to prevent snowballing. As a casual moba, however, its growing. Flashier skills and champions, more aesthetics (including skins), faster gameplay. League will not fully die because casual players who want 20 minute matches and fewer potential outcomes (when ahead or behind) are carrying it.
Casual players make up the bulk of profit for most MMOs. They are the largest portion of any popular game's playerbase and are the most likely to spend money on it as well.
Dedicated players spent a smaller amount of money, but usually only if its required or for aesthetic appeal on their 'main' character.
I haven't enjoyed League in almost 2 years, been playing aram every once in awhile, but the changes this year have completely broken aram. ADC/Mage comps are the only thing that win, and I've gotten to the point where there's just no fun in the game. If anything this season is the League of Salt.
I play since season 1. I'm not bored at all.Why ? Well that's simple:i don't spend my WHOLE day playing league like those complainers. Every good thing will be boring if you spend so much time on it,does,n't matter what it is. Frankly ,i love how league of legends change every season with all the up and down,it's just exciting and thrilling.I'm playing regulary,but that's my only activity so everytime i get to play it,i'm having a lot of fun.

I wouldn't say dying, but I have been extremely disappointed in all the new champs released over the past year, and I think they have hurt the game. Either they are just bad to have on your team like Bard, or overpowered like Ekko and Illaloi, or just plain annoying with invulnerability like Kindred. The other new champ Tahm Kench is all of them, overpowered in the right hands, can troll you and be bad to have on your team also. League would be so much better off without any of these new champs in the past year. I hate the new masteries also, I want my old masteries back.
League actually grew while HotS is collapsing.
