Before you do ANYTHING to GP, please listen to what I have to say

GPs winrate tanked harder than the winrate of tanks and that really says something Now before you tell me that it is because of DH and every GP trying out wonky stuff

It seems like the pickrate isn't enough to fully support that theory (And no I haven't encountered any gamebreaking bugs with GP so far)

IMO the reason why GP sucks right now is

A) Turret plating: GP often has to sit under his turret to survive the laning phase. When you sit under turret, the enemy can hit the turret here and there and get the 160g for each plate without the GP being able to do anything against that. Gp is getting snowballed on harder than before

B) Bounty gold: It is really bad for GP to get a bounty on him for cs-ing. He has a lot of cs thanks to his kit, he gains gold for killing stuff but if the enemy just gets bonus gold too without GP actually being on a killing spree then the bonus gold from GP becomes obsolete. Again, GP is getting snowballed on way harder

C) The Q doesn't do enough damage anymore to cost 60 mana. thanks to the runes. It's also his main cs-ing ability in the early game which makes the mana cost even worse

Now PLEASE don't buff GPs early game until he is in an acceptable spot again. You could revert some nerfs to his early like the Q mana or barrel duration or barrel granting vision again but don't go any further than that.

A lot of GP mains (myself included) don't really like the path the champion has taken in regards of playstyle.

The best way to play him was to sacrifice all your early game and picking pen runes, then going youmuus into full-crit and critting people with 250% damage and 40 flat pen.

Now GP does the same but with 140% damage and 40 flat pen but in return he has a stronger early game. Don't get me wrong, that isn't bad from a balance standpoint but this playstyle wasn't the reason why we started playing GP.

We played GP for the dogshit early game but godlike late game. The rune update coupled with the crit item rework basically removed that playstyle entirely.

That is why I propose these changes to get his winrate up again but also kind of "revert" his playstyle

Q mana cost changed from 60 to 40 -> 55 to 40 Barrels grant vision again Barrel penetration changed from 40% at all ranks to 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% New Effect: Barrels increase incoming crit multiplier by 30%/35%/40%/45%/50%

So if you Stormrazor critted for 140%, the barrel will bump that up to 190% (at max rank) Keep in mind this ONLY works on barrels, not other abilities or auto attacks

His crit build would still be max. the 250% like in season 7, also he gains his pen runes through the penetration in his barrels again

With these changes his early get's weakened a little more but his scalings are increased by a fuckton. This way he can once again get behind in the early game (like he does now) but he also has a goal to look forward to (like he does not have now).

Just don't make him a wannabe early fighter with mediocore scalings pls
