Should I get fizz, irelia, or riven for top lane?

I have been looking into all three of these champs and just got 4800 ip. I don't know which to get first. I am looking for a fun champion that is mobile, gets kills, can carry/snowball easily, doesn't suck, is at least a bit tanky, has a bit of cc (or kills fast and has gap closers to make up if they don't have cc) and I am willing to take a lot of time time to learn a champ. Fizz, irelia, and riven seem to all fit my description very well. Here are my thoughts, I am hesitant on fizz cuz he's getting nerfs and might get a lot more since people say that he doesn't fit LoL design musts, I am also hesitant on irelia because people are saying that she's probably gonna get nerfed hard in a few patches and that she is on the high priority to get reworked list, and I don't know if riven is any good rn. Thanks for feedback. If I had to choose any right now, it would probably be riven since i don't think she's gonna get nerfed or reworked anytime soon and seems to be really fun. (haven't played any of them)

Of those three I'd say riven if you can take the time to learn her as she's probably the least likely to get nerfed soon plus really good rivens are scary. If they don't gut irelia in the next few patches she wouldn't be a bad choice either.

You might also want to consider wukong. He's strong, unlikely to get nerfed, can carry, and can still contribute if he falls behind.

Irelia can be played more, out of the 3 she is the least likely to be banned

Don't pick riven if shes not going to be basically the only champ you play seriously from now on, and are going to keep playing her for years at a time whens shes bad in the meta.

I wouldn't listen to people saying Irelia. They are only saying it because of this patch. She's meta due to the recent Triforce changes and her buffs earlier. Her banrate and popularity are going up and she will get nerfed soon. There is no guarantee she will be good.

Fizz seems to be immune to nerfs as far as Rito is concerned, but you never know. He's currently considered cancer, which means it's hard to main him against the bans.

Riven is solid if you can master her mechanics and resist becoming a toxic fuck :)

Irelia. That trinity buff for her is amazing. Being able to build 1 damage item and go full tank is great.

Irelia I would say Fizz but he's about to get nerfed and you'll get hated on these boards for playing him. Trust me I know the pain.

I say Irelia because she has a bit more to her than the others. Stun, slow, mobility, tenacity, sustain, and hard to control. That and she's honestly a lot more fun that the other two.

Irelia is really easy to play if that's what you're looking for. Played her for less than ten games and already got a penta. Faceroll champ.

If you want someone with a higher learning curve, Riven is a good choice.

Play each champion. Which fits your playstyle the best?

Do you prefer being heavy duty and durable? Than go Irealia.

Do you like to be untargetable and take advantage of the power of AP? Than go Fizz.

Do you like heavy damage and being highly mobile with very low cooldowns? Than go Riven.

I normally dominate Riven easily, as she is squishy, but I've seen Riven with a juggernaut build do very well: They have nice damage and can take a hit while being mobile, and the semi tank Riven I've seen are good.

Personally, Fizz is who I struggle with, as he can become untargetable, while the other two are easy to beat (I main Mordekiaser), but that is simply my opinion.

Just study their kits and think of possiblities with each kit. Which resonates more with your playstyle? That should be your choice.

Irealia=tank Riven=speed and damage Fizz= untargetability and high AP

i would say get fizz because u can go mid/top/jung but he's getting nerfed so i would go with irelia tbh she had a buff a few patches ago and she does good with the new triforce so go with irelia imo
