When does it go too far?

After a normal 5's game, just now, in the post-game lobby, two of my opponents began verbally harassing me.
That's part of this game, I know this. But how far is too far? I wish I had screencapped it. I didn't escalate, but it devolved into threats of shooting me, castrating me, and raping and mutilating my mother, in detail. How far is too far?

I assure you that it is not part of the game.

Just report them (because even end game lobby is monitored) and move on.

Riot does get to see pre and post-game chat, contrary to popular opinion; you don't need to screenshot it to prove it to them. However, I think the public would like to see what they said. Would you mind censoring the names that aren't yours (or preferably typing "Summoner 1, 2, 3, etc. over them) and adding it to this thread? Public name-and-shaming is against the Forum rules, so the names have to be hidden.

Behavior like this is unacceptable, just ignore them and report them with slight details in the description. They will get what they deserve.

Sorry to hear about that, it's getting worse and worse lately, and on top of that people really run wild on pre and post game screens(I'm thinking to dodge logging). Hopefully people start getting punished a little harder than chat restrictions :)

Why in the world they don't monitor the lobbies for reports is beyond me

Legally speaking, it is too far once you deem it too far.

Just have to be like, "Hey, that's going too far, tone it down.", and if they don't, those are criminal threats!

But in all actuality, that's a plain old summoner's code violation, so you report and hope they get banned.
