It seems to me that every game I enter for some “quality league of legends”(normals) ends up with unbalanced teams.Keep in mind according to op.gg I have average mmr of a silver 1. But for some reason i keep getting these diamonds (5-3) into to my games and making some of these game unbalanced it's either we stomp or we get stomped, I was wondering if anyone had the same results?

Matchmaking is definitely much worse in Normals than Ranked, even though I assume the algorithms are close to the same. Some highly skilled players don't keep play enough Normal games to keep their Normal MMR up with their Ranked MMR. People also play much less consistently in Normals, whereas most try to only play their best champs/roles in Ranked. Finally, Normals have no limitations on who can queue together, so sometimes you get a huge range of skill levels in the same game. This is probably the most common explanation - for instance, in your most recent game, the information on op.gg indicates that the diamond queued with a silver. Though the system tries to put together a fair match, it gets harder and harder the wider the skill gap is.
