pls understand the importance of minion waves in the side-lanes

if at any time you see enemy minions larger than your minions, go and fix the wave so that your minions will be larger.

It doesn't matter if they're not at the tower yet, they WILL be, that's what matters.

When you know your minions will stack and push towards them, but still far away from their tower, now is your team's chance to do something else around the map. This will create pressure and perhaps lead an enemy there instead of to an objective or fight (so you 5v4). Or it sets you up to take the tower later after you do something else (win a fight, get a pick, dragon, another tower, anything).

At the very least it's mental security that ther'es no reason to be by that lane until an enemy is spotted by your minion wave. It narrows the scope of the game

This may not apply very much to heavy split-pushers who are always looking to ride a wave, but anyone on the team can contribute to this philosphy easily

These are the tides of war, and if you don't understand you will get pulled under and drown in the salty sea of ELO Hell

pls understand
