The 99LP Problem.

I've been working on climbing to plat with my ranked team, and SOLO Q. During this time I've hit 99LP multiple times and its very aggravating. Playing another game to get 1LP doesn't make much sense. now i understand that if i lose my next game I'm going to drop 15 or so LP then the next win will put me at 100LP but that seems like more work then i should have to put in because if i don't lose that next game ill be basically wasting 20 or so LP because i'll be at 100LP. SO here is my thought either A. You cant get 99 LP its just wont happen its either 100LP or 95LP. B. When you win a game after reaching 99Lp the LP leftover from that win will be given to you after your promos so if you lose promos maybe you will get right back in or if you won them you start the next league with 15 or so LP because that's the LP you earned.

I think the LOL system is very simple which is good. If they made it 99 then people would argue about 98 and so on and so on. How about you get to 100LP and earn your promo series instead of asking for handouts.

The only solution to this (not "the problem", the complaining) and I know it's stupid and won't happen, is to hide just how close you are. Not all the time, so like: when you have 24 LP, it shows you have 24 LP. But, when you have 97 LP it shows you only have like 90. You still have 97, but you only get to see that you have 90. It doesn't break the system, it does make it stupid.

You would have to adjust the displayed numbers on your wins and losses around the 90-100 range because otherwise people would realize they are being shown the wrong number and find a new way to complain.

I'm not saying this should happen. I am saying it is the only way, without breaking the existing system to stop people complaining about having anything over 95 LP.

Remember that when climbing your MMR is more important than your LP. So don't look at this as a game to win 1 LP. Look at this as a chance to increase your MMR, which will help your climbing in the long run.
