Nerf Ranged CC At Close Range
Simple, its dumb, if your melee, and somebody has good ranged cc your not doing anything basically.

Dude, if you are already on top them, in most situation a champion who has ranged cc will use the time to back away/escape. If you consistently get obliterated after getting cc-ed at close range, to a degree where posting about it makes sense, I think it's a tactics/build issue on your part.
Fun fact, Xerath's stun is less effective the less distance it travels between your target and you. Hitting a melee ranged stun with him leaves it incredibly short compared to the longest distance stun.
ashe's ult the further it travels the longer the stun.
and its a skill shot.
alot of cc /stuns are either skill shots or increase the duration with level of skill.
This change would render most champions unplayable. Like, I wouldn't mind some kind of benefit to immobile bruisers, but a broad change like this would just break the shit out of hyper mobile assassins.
Better to just give a few immobile bruisers some innate Tenacity based on how much trouble they have with CC. Champions with their own counterplay to CC like Olaf or to a lesser extent Udyr shouldn't get as much as Yoric, I guess. And of course fix displacements. Some day...
