Someone needs to fix this beyblade spinning piece of shit. He spins to deal dmg, his ult does half of a adc's health, has a silence that last forever. Even after the rework still fucking broken. Oh did i mention he fucking SPINS. His e should be called, Spin to win.
Manaless Silence AOE Building dmg and being retard tanky execute ultimate massive speed buff massive regen that rivals nexus heal at level 8 when not taking dmg, which causes you to scramble to dmg him in lane to debuff regen and usually is the perfect bait for ganks as garens do this naturally all the time, if you do not he will just out sustain you out of the lane. "Attrition" Activate armor magic resist buff Big hit box can block for his team and deny minions
This champ is highly abusable, its not fun to play against. His kit is overloaded, his popularity top is understandable, i'm surprised he isnt being played mid jungle and adc by now. Honestly not much would stop him if he can dodge CC. Get any champ in the game low early and press R to win. Is this how league of legends wants to represent itself? Noone wants to play this game for 40-50 minutes against some thing so mindless, while you work your ass off to position, harass avoid creep wave dmg, conserve mana, sustain, and farm....all this garen needs to do is literally stand far enough away from the creeps and regen and CS or sit in the bush, once his HP has regen enough he will attempt to go all in and usually kill you at jaw dropping amounts of HP. (alot of times i have died simply by forgetting how ridiculous he is, its unimaginable)
If you complain in a game making valid reasons people will actually try to justify that they are superior like they do with anything in league and explain ways to deal with garen that i can guarantee have never even worked for them at a fraction of the success that they state they have.
They tried to tell me gnar was a counter, I have 120 games in ranked with gnar and probably 100 more in normals. I live off gnar, I have played plat vs silver games in customs and beat plats out of lane with gnar, i play him confidently and although im not 100% perfect 24/7 with him, i can tell you that Gnar takes work to kill a garen that even has a slight knowledge about his own kit.
You have to play soo smart, in order to achieve so little against a champ that can achieve so much with no risk, literally i can attempt to beat garen out of lane, but he will sit at turret and regen and let you push, and if you dive him with gnar your fucked he will execute. This also leaves you open for ganks you cannot kill him fast enough even at 10% HP.
What i have learned is you simply do not go in against a garen....ever, unless you receive a gank and that same gank usually wastes your junglers time because garen gets away 9 times out of 10 and your jungle will only get you a tower if he actually stays and helps take the turret like hes supposed to and if garen does not TP which he usually does because regen keeps him in lane and Q gets him back to turret quick, so he basically has a free teleport reserve if he is smart. There is not reason for a garen to not be in lane at all times.
you simply get better results 9 times out of 10 not fighting or even ganking a garen period.
He's shit, and i honestly cannot fucking believe riot leaves this in the air, i would literally play against teemo over garen teemo is actually ez i have no problem with teemo at all, i mean at least with a teemo you can let him Q you intentionally wait for the blind debuff to fall off and then go in (especially if he has been laying down shrooms and low on mana) you can use this strategy using any champ against teemo. But i fail to see the weaknesses in garen, there simply is no window of opportunity in lane or weakness i can think of with a garen who knows how to abuse his kit.
That being said, even though his team fight abilitys are just as atrocious due to being an effective tank and usually being able to dive the back line with no problem and taking out the ADC, a game is winnable against him, but to me garen is the definition of broken. frustraiting, and toxic, i mean is there any wonder why hes so popular or banned? represents the community to the fullest.

Any champ that can build full tank (Nasus) (Ammu) (Garen) Should be nerfed. A Tank is meant to absorb damage and deal way less damage..in these cases they can build full tank, absorb a shit lot of damage and still out damage an adc/apc early to mid game, sometimes even late game.
I could 100-0 ADCs before the rework with him; why is everyone complaining about him now all of the sudden? Is it because he's actually appearing in games for once?

I was playing Lulu, and Garen was spinning and was gonna kill my team mate with it, so I polymorphed Garen and he stopped, but then he carried on spinning after he was done being polymorphed. BROKEN.

Rework fixed a lot of his mid game. Since he can build cleaver first item because of the armour he gets from minions instead of scaling with armour he already had.
Not to mention he's fast as hell and impossible to kill.
That moment when malzahar and cho still have way longer silences :P
The rework simply enabled him to do the damage he needed to not be ignored in teamfights. As far as op I don't think so as he gave up laning power for a better late game and most people seem for forget they removed his tenacity on the W making him very easy to kite and peel. It really just people are use to facetanking his ignoreable damage from before the rework and refusing to kite making him seem godlike when he is just finally in a good spot.
Yea his silence is op and Cho's AOE silence is not. You think that he is op now because people pick him now? His silence duration is 1 sec lower then before! The problem is that people started to play him more, I've probably seen Garen once or twice in a ranked match. Long story short he is not op, but Mord is!
