Meddler, a request

First off, I'm VERY excited for the new rune system and what Season 8 may bring. - That being said, - If the Season 8 changes don't ultimately lead to a more balanced state (akin to the "more balanced patches" League has had), can we change the direction we've been going? Please? I'll elaborate.

Turrets feel so bad right now. We got Rift Herald, and it's dope! Lethality affects turrets as well as AP in the fashion AD does, and I dislike it, but I've accepted it. You're introducing a Turret-buster rune, and the most we've heard on a Turret buff is it being a "maybe". Turrets give plenty of gold, and snowballing off of them is no impressive feat. Can they please get some love?

Bot Lane has all the attention at the moment. It's a GP10-pounding-Ardent-rush fiesta; naturally so. Ardent offers 20-35% attack speed for just healing or shielding, among it's other effects/stats. That's .. a lot of attack speed, man. And a lot of free stats. Even the higher leveled players that stream have spoken out against the item; often stating they feel it should outright be removed because it's unhealthy(even post-changes) and too influential to the meta as a SINGLE item. I personally wish it had a tiny single niche, but I also understand there's opportunity for tweaks in the future.

AP Itemization is not in a great spot right now. Most stats a mage wants are sitting inside Morellonomicon, so the approach is often Lost Chapter rush into Core item into Morello - or something similar. To borrow from** Malicious Metal**'s post, I support the idea of giving mages more "core" rush-worthy items; but I also suggest toning down the overloaded Morello! On this note, every class having several core rush-worthy items that don't offer invisible power would be nice IMO.

Continue to work on Clarity. Clarity was a major concern of Riot Games over the last season or two, and it's something we as players very much appreciate. Continue to focus on ensuring items+skills don't give invisible power, even if it means reworking them; and continue expressing your thoughts on the game/patch with as much depth as you have time for. I personally really appreciate it. We want to understand your team's thought process, because while the boards are often salt-fueled rants, it does give us a stronger understanding behind why certain decisions are made; ultimately allowing us to give more appropriate feedback and leaving us with less confusion behind changes within the game.

Supports find more power in Items than Kits. This may a decision you support, but it's personally one that I feel takes away from Support players; only making it more attractive due to Supports having a massive influence on games. With roughly 3 years of Support under my belt, the vision game & utilizing my kit and it's synergy with my ADC was often what made me a solid Support. As of today, it feels more so like my Support power is rooted in whichever Support items give the best stats/effects (odd in a role where major gold income wasn't expected); my kit simply being a component to get me there. I feel this strips Supports of their identity to some extent, and overall takes away from the feeling of playing Support.

I can't decide the direction League takes; as I don't have that sort of position/power. But overall, I think addressing some of these issues(my opinion) would be great for the game.
