Advice on Getting Better this season?

So I just jumped back in after months of no play. It was beneficial for me because now I sorta defined what champs I love and champs I dont. But recently Ive just been playing aram and having a blast. With the new practice tool I really want to narrow down to my favorite champs. How should I go after ranked this season? Ive been matched with bronzies lol im like low silver but still the difference in objectives is hilarious. So Ive done fine and want to climb elo to get back to a challenging level of play. I actually want to push for gold this summer I love this game and truly want to get better now, I have had my fun and want to be decent. So my best champs are Ziggs Swain Nautilus Alistar Amumu Malzahar Maokai in that order lol I like Quinn Diana Poppy Morgana (these i do well but find them very hard some games or just lose outright in certain matchups). So if you can see, I mained Mid for the longest time(it gets very hard the higher you climb), tried top and not a huge fan(either feed or stomp mostly feed though), loved jungle but they changed it, and my true calling is support(ADC is too hard for me). I love support but in low elo it is hard to climb when you are 4 0 5 as naut and your team is just rubbing tips together at baron 20 minutes in despite your awesome picks and catches. Without damage in bronze/silver or competent teamates(lol) its hard to win and really defeating when you do great but the ADC just feeds no matter what you do. So my question is should I main a few champs or even one-trick. Main a certain role i.e. tank jungs, tops and sups. What ive done in the past is main mid(it gets really hard the higher you get) and second top or jung. Im best at support tanks but carrying with them is very difficult until you get to higher silver. I like control mages(zone out enemy), top sup and jung tanks(team helping, picks, and good engages), and bruiser types like swain, jax, that do dmg, have cc, but still tank well.

LOL. So finally how do I get better. Focus on a few champ? One-trick? Just cs for days with similar style champs? Play until my fingers bleed? I struggle finding fun and engaging champs that are rewarding to play in my elo; high bronze and low silver. I dont prefer to carry but help others snowball with tactical and outsmarting plays. So any tips. Champ suggestions or just general advice is very much appreciated. Thanks for reading
