Ward jumping

I know this is a very hated mechanic and especially on Lee Sin, so I thought of an idea that removed his ward jumping ability but still make him able to do his Insec LCS flashy plays. What if instead of jumping to wards Lee Sin was able to use his (first) w on ENEMY and ally units instead. I know it's not the greatest fix, and still not a much liked idea, because he still has tons of mobility, but I think it removes the one problem a lot of people were complaining about him, the ward jump.

If you guys have any suggestions I wouldn't mind hearing them either, because to be honest I just came up with this one the spot, and I know it's not a super good idea, but it still allows him to keep what makes him good. Which a lot of you people might hate still because a lot of you hate the champion.
