Lately I been thinking on getting to play Shen, just because it is fun, however it's not the same champion that I remember, it doesn't feel really safe to play him anymore (at least for me), and since there is this huge thing with ranged top laners, it's pretty much hell. While his kit is not bad at all, I find his Q to be out of place and really lackluster. I mean the guy is a ninja, why does he have a flying sword following him.
i dont miss it. I just destroyed one and it felt good.
His new Q is great in terms of damage and I've found him to be a much better iteration then his previous form. The floating blade is hokey and eventually I think it might be cooler to make it a skill shot that he can pull back for the extra AS and damage.
That's was sort of my thinking. It would give it some more unique interaction while providing some similarity to the old spell. Instead of the string he can just force grab it to bring it back to him. LOL!
